WELCOME TO MY STUDIO IN THE PINES.

ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF AND MY CRAFT.

I have been a potter for over forty years. During this time I have taught pottery both in Los Angeles and Spokane.

Shows where I have exhibited my work include ArtFest, Art On The Green, Terrain Bazaar and Garden Expo.. I was also awarded a scholarship to study pottery at Arrowmont in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

After taking time off to raise my family I have resumed my work with clay and I built my studio in the pines of the Pacific Northwest countryside.

Currently I am enjoying creating sometimes quirky and colorful collages on thrown and slab built pottery using transfers, wax resist, underglazes. glazes, stamps, slip and sgraffito.

I approach each piece as a canvas used to design mostly functional, one of a kind work. I am spontaneous in my approach and am inspired by sometimes unpredictable influences driving my color and pattern choices,
